It is with great sadness that the family of Kathleen (Kathy) Sue Higgins, 75 announces her passing. She left this earthly world peacefully on January 5, 2026, at IU Hospital in Tipton, Indiana after a brief battle with infections. Born August 13, 1950, in Elwood, Indiana to Pete and Helen Stansberry. Kathy was a longtime resident of Noblesville, Indiana. She was a dedicated Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend. She enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping, baking, playing bingo, and social media. She was known for her sense of humor, kindness, and giving nature.
Survived by her Son, Scott Higgins (Lori) of Noblesville; Daughter, Angela Hoover (Tony) of Tipton; Grandchildren, Anna Higgins, Emily (Zacc) Edge-Young, Elizabeth Edge, Natalie Higgins, Allison Edge, and John Robert Edge; Great grandchildren, Asher and Amelia; Sister, Debbie Stansberry of Elwood; Brother-in-law, Hal (Debbie) Higgins; Nieces, Heather (Steve) Borst and Melissa Graham; Nephews, Tim (Katie)Graham, Chad (Pam)Stansberry, Todd (Darci) Graham and Matthew Graham; and several close friends.
Preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Helen Stansberry; her husband, Robert Higgins; brother, Steve Stansberry; sister, Debbie Kellum; and granddaughter, Kayli Dawn Higgins.
A memorial service will be held on January 11, 2026 with viewing from 12p-2pm; funeral 2:30p at Randall and Roberts Funeral Home, 1685 Westfield Road Noblesville, IN 46062.
