Let Us Pause To Honor the Memory of Mrs. Julia "Judy" Ann Hart Huff July 12, 1948 - July 15, 2025
Mrs. Julia "Judy" Ann Hart Huff, Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, Julia Ann Huff, known to most as Judy, passed away on July 15, 2025, in Greencastle, Indiana, surrounded by the love of her family. She was 77 years old.
Born in Lebanon, Indiana, to Joann Gillette Hart Snyder and Robert Eugene Hart, she grew up with a strong sense of family and resilience that would define her life. A proud graduate of Frankfort High School, Class of 1965/66, she married George Martin Huff in 1967 and together they had three children. She lived in many places throughout her life-Frankfort, Miami, West Covina, Westfield, Indianapolis, and finally Cloverdale, Indiana, where she resided with her son and daughter-in-law. One of her most courageous acts was driving across the country from California to Indiana with nothing but a U-Haul, her children’s bicycles, and an unshakable determination to build a better life. It took five days, but her strength and perseverance never wavered. She was known for her intelligence, thoughtfulness, loyalty, and tireless work ethic. She loved music, the simple beauty of geraniums, and above all, her family. Her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were the center of her world, and she gave them her unwavering love and support every day of her life. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She was truly one of a kind-strong, resilient, and deeply loved by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
A LOVING FAMILY Judy will be missed by her loving son, George Spradling Huff and his wife, Carolyn of Cloverdale, Indiana; her loving daughters, Elizabeth Ann Huff Reynolds of Noblesville, Indiana, Jennifer Ann Huff Popovich and her husband, Robert of Noblesville, Indiana; her cherished granddaughters, Brittany Ann Huff, Julia Ann Huff Wise, Kathryn Michelle Popovich; her cherished grandsons, Andrew Corbin Huff, Jackson Myles Nance; her treasured great-grandchildren, Alfred George Wise and Elton George Wise; her sisters, Patricia Ann Hart Cantwell of Madison, Indiana, Roberta Jean Hart Gardner of Muncie, Indiana, Rebecca "Becky" Hart Mills and her husband, Charles of Westfield, Indiana; her half-brother, William Earl Snyder and his wife, Jamie of Orlando, Florida; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Eugene Hart, her mother, JoAnne Gillette Hart Snyder, her sister, Sharon Ann Hart Amat, her brother, Douglas Alan Snyder, and her brother-in-law, Bruce Cantwell.
