Judith Diane Williams

Judith Diane Williams, 82, of Sheridan, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2023 at her home.  She was born on May 21, 1940 to Fred L. and Ruth E. (Webster) Merrill in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Judith graduated from Broad Ripple High School in 1958 and worked as an insurance switchboard operator.  She was a member of Noblesville First United Methodist Church and Sheridan United Methodist Church.  For 33 years, Judith volunteered for Riverview Hospital.  She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority - Eta Epsilon Chapter.  Judith enjoyed volunteering, reading, and telling jokes.

She is survived by her son, Douglas (Melinda) Williams of Noblesville; daughter, Lisa (Brandon) Gatton of Sheridan; 8 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 4 nieces & nephews.

In addition to her parents, Judith was preceded in death by her sister, Marlene Joan Schnurlein; and her brother, Thomas Merrill.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, with services at 1:00 pm, on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville.  Burial will be at Washington Park North Cemetery in Indianapolis.
