Judith Mary Czarnecki, 84, of Noblesville, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2026, where she lived the last 5 years. She was born on November 21, 1941 to Stanley and Sophie (Kondraki) Czarnecki in Chicago, Illinois. Judy spent most of her life for 47 years in Merrillville, Indiana.
Judy was a loving mother that raised 5 children and was involved with all of their activities. After the grandchildren came, she devoted her love to each one of them. Therefore, welcoming her beautiful great-grandchildren into her fold was extremely important to Judy.
She was heavily involved in the Merrillville, Indiana community. For 20 years, Judy volunteered in the clerk's office and the voting polls. She was president of the gymnastic booster club and a lead administrator organizer of the senior center. Judy also served Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church as a sacristan. In 1985, she was an integral organizer with the "Good News Bears" booster club to bring the Super Bowl Champions, the Chicago Bears, for a visit to Merrillville. After moving to Noblesville, Indiana, Judy became a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.
She is survived by her children, Corinne (Scott) Shudick, David (Sue) Kierzkowski, Jeanine (Kelley) Kaurich, Tom (Dana) Kierzkowski, and Marlene (Barry) Gregory; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and her sisters-in-law, Kathy Czarnecki, Michelle Czarnecki, and Carol Czarnecki.
In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters.
Visitation will be from 10:30 am to 11:30 am, with Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am, on Monday, July 20, 2026 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 9900 East 191st Street, in Noblesville. Burial will be at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery in Indianapolis.
