Jonathan Witherbee

Jonathan Scott Witherbee of Carmel passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021 at IU Health University Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on December 13, 1976 to Gary and Elaine (Porter) Witherbee in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Jon received a bachelor's degree from Kelly School of Business, Indiana University in 1999 and worked for UPS for over 20 years as an International Sales Manager. He was an avid golfer, grill master and sports fanatic, and particularly enjoyed watching his favorite teams: the Hoosiers, Red Sox and Colts. Jon also enjoyed reading, playing cards and traveling the world. He was happiest spending time at his summer home in Maine, surrounded by friends and family. Anyone who knew Jon could see how much he cherished and loved his wife and children.

Jon was preceded in death by his mother Elaine in 2019 and is survived by his wife Jennifer (Howes) Witherbee, son Benjamin (11), and daughter Sophie (9); father Gary Witherbee; brother Michael (Katie) Edmondson, niece Ellie (18), and nephew Max (17); twin sister Kristin (Matthew) Brown, nephew Zach (14), and nephew Josh (11); parents-in-law Ralph & Karen Howes; brother-in-law Jonathan (Renee) Howes, nephew Evan (12), and niece Kate (10); and brother-in-law Matthew (Cari) Howes.

A celebration of life will be held at The Club at Chatham Hills (The Sky Ballroom) on Sunday, April 25th from 1-5 PM located at 1100 Chatham Hills Boulevard, Westfield, IN 46074. All are welcome to pay respects. Jon will be laid to rest in North Turner, Maine this summer. The Witherbee family has entrusted Randall & Roberts Funeral Homes with his care.
