Jonathan Dayne Tongate

Jonathan Dayne Tongate, of Westfield, passed away at his home, Saturday March 18th, 2023. John was born February 8th, 1960 to Jerry Richard & Johnsie May (Smith) Tongate in Greenfield, IN. He is preceded in death by his parents & brother, Jerry Wayne. 

John was an amazing father/ grandfather to his children & grandchildren. John worked for Ace-Air Inc. for 27+ years, & was a proud member of the Sheet Metal Local 20. 

John loved his family & friends, & loved the time he got to spend with them. He loved to bass fish, cook out, help out with projects, always loved to polish a Harley out at L.A. Cycles, & he loved his routine of taking Paiton to school & playing I-spy the whole way. 

John is survived by his wife of 40+ years, Patricia (Messer) Tongate, 2 sons; Jon-Paul & Jason Matthew; 3 grandchildren; Jordyn Leslie, Brooklynn Kelly, & Paiton Lucille, a great-granddaughter; Emersyn Quinn, & his siblings; George Daniel, Margaret Ruth, & Richard Allen. 

He was loved very much, & will be greatly missed… often! 

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, March 24, 2023 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville.
