John Troll Jr.

John Troll Jr., 75, of McCordsville, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2023, at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis.  He was born on October 30, 1947, to John Troll Sr. and Florence Troll in Corning, New York.

John attended Antioch College and law school at SUNY Buffalo and was an attorney for over 45 years.  John never knew a stranger; he enjoyed striking up a conversation with anyone.  He was a sports fan who liked pickleball, tennis, and ballroom dancing.  John was a wonderful grandfather figure, benevolent, outgoing and affirming.  He was very proud of his son and loved him very much.  John's favorite thing was to talk with anyone who would listen about his son.  

He is survived by his son, John Troll III; sister, Debbie Ferguson; companion, Jean Otten; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his brother, Dan Troll.

Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, with services at 2:00 pm, on Friday, March 31, 2023 at Christ the Savior Lutheran Church, 10500 East 126th Street, in Fishers.  Rev. Brian D. Derrer and Associate Pastor Todd Lotridge will officiate.
