John Blake

John Blake, 98, of Noblesville, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at his home.  He was born on November 8, 1924 to Earl and Daphne (Goodale) Blake in Wolcott, Indiana.

John proudly served in the United States Navy during WWII, and was an electrical engineer for 35 years. He enjoyed fishing, playing and watching golf, and was a Purdue sports fan. John loved spending time with his grandchildren and doing hands on projects. His quick wit and funny sense of humor will be greatly missed. 

He is survived by his wife of 73 years, Carole (King) Blake; sons, William (Dawn) Blake and Tom Blake; brother, Robert (Eleanor) Blake; grandchildren, Abbey (Jonathan) Levenshus, Adam (Lauren) Blake, and Tyler (Melissa) Blake; and eight great-grandchildren, Rose, Hadley, Andrew, Beau, Grace, Henry Ozzy, and Eli.

John was preceded in death by his parents.

The Blake family has entrusted Randall & Roberts Funeral Center with John's care.
