Joan Martha Lodovisi

Joan Martha Lodovisi, 85, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away on Sunday, June 5th, 2022, at her home. She was born on October 8th, 1936 to Arthur and Martha (Oprzendek) Kern in Mosinee, Wisconsin.

Joan and her family resided in Crown Point, Indiana until retirement where she and her husband relocated to Palm Desert, California. She was a homemaker, who loved her children and family dearly. She had a passion for cooking and spending time with family and volunteered for many organizations throughout her life.

She is survived by her son, Jerry (Debbie) Lodovisi; daughter, Jennifer Evanseck; grandchildren, Erica (Josh) Hedderich, Elizabeth Shock, Jerome (Lydia) Lodovisi, Brittany Shellhaas, Caroline Lodovisi, Megan Evanseck, and Lauren Evanseck; great grandchildren, Rose and Piper Hedderich, Sophia and Jonathon Shock, and Will Shellhaas; and brother, Jerome (Mary) Kern.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Victor Lodovisi; son, Lawrence Lodovisi; and brother, Russell Kern.

Services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, July 29th, 2022 at St. Louis de Montfort Catholic Church, 11441 Hague Road in Fishers. Luncheon reception following service at St. Louis de Montfort.
