Jimmy R Wilson, 72, Noblesville, passed away Monday, March 24, 2008 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. He was born August 23, 1935 in Noblesville, Indiana to Esta (Carroll) and Ralph Wilson.
He had been employed by Hills Asphalt, Albright Asphalt and F. E. Harding Company, over 40 years.
He was in the National Guard, Battery C, 250th Field Artillary. Mr. Wilson was a 50 year member of the Noblesville Moose Lodge. He loved gardening, fishing, woodworking, being outdoors and barbequeing. In addition, he played the harmonica and he was an avid sports fan.
He is survived by four sons, Joe Neal (Trisha) Clinton of Winfield, Kansas; Kenny (Kris) Wilson of Noblesville; Anthony Wilson and Denise of Noblesville; and Jerry (Lisa) Wilson of Noblesville; two daughters, Denise Gay Wilson of Houston, TX and Mary (Eddie) Cook of Noblesville; one brother, Vic Wilson of Noblesville; three sisters, Juanita Griggs of Kokomo; Judy Rushforth of Noblesville; and Dana Rich of Omega; 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Evia, who passed away in 2005; and two brothers, Lowell Wilson and Walton Wilson.
Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, March 28, 2008 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, Noblesville, with Minister Russell Easton officiating. Friends may call Thursday, March 27, 4:00 - 8:00 PM at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, Noblesville. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Memorial contributions may be made to Noblesville Moose Lodge or Moose HEART.
