Let the memory of Jill be with us forever.
Jill Rebecca Dahlberg, 42, of Mishawaka, Indiana, was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She left this world suddenly on June 24th, 2022. She was born to the late Loren Dahlberg and Patricia Skarhus Dahlberg on May 20th, 1980 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She is survived by her pride and joy, son, Jason Dahlberg; her three sisters, Jennifer (Dahlberg) Landers (Lance), Julie (Dahlberg) Herrington (Dave) and Jaclyn (Dahlberg) Hardin; and her nieces and nephews, who she adored, Christian Landers, Kemry Landers, Carson Landers, Campbell Chastain, Steele Chastain, Quinn Chastain and Jaxon Hardin. She will be missed by several aunts, uncles and cousins, as well. She also leaves behind her significant other, Monica Barrier, the two had many plans for the future.
Jill Dahlberg’s zest for life will be remembered long after her passing. Jill’s DNA was a caretaker and nurturer. She made that into a career as an LPN and held several roles utilizing this skill set. Her smile would light up a room and her love for her family, was undeniable. She was happiest when she was surrounded by those who meant the most to her. Jill loved spending time in the kitchen and testing out new recipes. She was the life of the party and if music was playing, you can bet she was singing at the top of her lungs and dancing like no one or everyone was watching. She was an avid animal lover and was known for bringing home stray animals on more than one occasion: including mice. We are heartbroken, with her passing, but find some solace in knowing she is reunited with her dad, most likely, gambling, as we speak. While we cannot understand the timing of her departure from the physical world, we know she is flying high and free of any earthly worries.
To celebrate her bright spirit, we are asking that everyone wear bright colors to honor her. “Each life is a unique blend of energy that colors the planet.”-Lauren Roedy Vaughn
