Jerry G. Nieten DDS

Dr. Jerry G. Nieten, DDS, 79, of Noblesville, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, February 14, 2026. He was born on July 24, 1946, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to Gerald and Emily (Miles) Nieten.

Jerry proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1972 to 1977. Following his military service, he taught at the Indiana University School of Dentistry and later practiced dentistry at Fort Benjamin Harrison. In 1996, he entered private practice, where he served his patients with dedication until his retirement.

Jerry was a committed Christian who loved the Lord and held firmly to his faith. He spent many hours reading and studying Scripture and took seriously the truths of God’s Word. His belief in Jesus Christ and the work of the Holy Spirit were central to his life.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Sheila Nieten; his sons, Joshua (Erin) Nieten and Jacob (Susan) Nieten; his sister, Peg (Tom) Gaunt; his brother, Donald (Tammy) Nieten; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, David Nieten.

A celebration of Jerry’s life will be held at a later date.
