Jennifer Diane (Nevitt) Lucas, 56, of Noblesville, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2026 at Riverview Health in Noblesville. She was born on December 26, 1969 in Noblesville, Indiana.
Jennifer worked as an inventory control supervisor for Owens & Minor Medical Supply for over 20 years. She attended Clarksville Christian Church. In her younger years, she enjoyed primitive camping with her parents and siblings. Jennifer loved her pets and admired things that involved the sun and moon. She loved hiking, concerts, movies, a wide variety of music and spoiled her grandchildren on a continual basis. She was always willing to help others, even in her final wishes of being an organ and tissue donor so that other's lives would be extended through her gift. Jennifer was known for her positive attitude on life and being a bright spirit with a smile that was infectious.
She is survived by her mother, Diane Nevitt; husband of 18 years, Michael Day; son, Ray (Amber) Lucas; daughter, Jessica (Roman) Lucas; grandchildren, Kadience, Hartleigh, Memphis, and Brandon; bonus grandchildren, Kaden, Brandon, Allie, Elizabeth, William, and Hayden; sister, Jeri Nevitt; as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Dale Nevitt; brother, Jeffrey Nevitt; and grandparents, Richard & Thelma (Lehr) Zeiss and Herman & Ruth (Cook) Nevitt.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at Clarksville Christian Church, 16600 Lehr Street in Noblesville. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to the time of service at the church. After the service there will be a “Celebration of Life” on the grounds of the Church. Dress casually and bring a lawn chair and share your memories while enjoying the company of friends and food.
