Jay and his wife, Linda, raised their family in Indianapolis and he was very involved in his children’s activities. Jay spent many years involved in his son's activities including coaching little league baseball and being a scout leader. Jay was the biggest cheerleader of his daughter in her pursuit of a chemical engineering degree. Jay and Linda enjoyed dining out regularly, playing cards, and watching Linda’s favorite team, The Chicago Cubs.
