Jason Christopher Brenneman

Jason Christopher Brenneman, 42, of Carmel, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2026 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on August 10, 1984 to Richard and Peggy (Johnson) Brenneman in Greenfield, Indiana.

Jason grew up in New Castle, Indiana and graduated from New Castle Chrysler High School in 2003. He then graduated from Purdue University in 2007 with a bachelors degree and was an avid Boilermaker. Jason worked as a financial advisor for Edward Jones and he loved his work. Prior to joining Edward Jones, he worked for Chase Bank in Brookfield, Wisconsin and the Hyatt Place in West Palm Beach, FL. He was an incredibly active dad and that was his most important role. He volunteered with the Carmel Dad's Club, as a soccer coach, and with the M.O.R.E. Group at Carmel Elementary and Carmel Middle School. He enjoyed traveling, especially on family trips to Disney World and Disney cruises, as well as trips with his wife to Spain, France, Italy and Australia.

Jason is survived by his wife, Jessica Brenneman; father, Richard Brenneman; 4 sons, Jackson, Jameson, Jude, and Joseph Brenneman; siblings, Mary (Dan) Nepstad, Fred (Chrissy) Huntzinger, Paul (Tatiana) York, Rebekah (John) Copas, and Andy (Amanda) York; in-laws, Shawn (Susan) Castle, and Kat (Matt Poole) Castle, and Aunt Bobbie (David) Garver; several nieces, nephews, and cousins including, Austin (Savanna) Campbell, Bryce (Kenzie) Campbell, Sarah (Alex) Weaver, Brooke (Nick) York, and Savannah York. As well as close friends from elementary school, college (The Purdue Pals) and neighborhood friends; along with countless others.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Peggy Brenneman; and his grandparents, Ennis & Mildred Brenneman, and Fred & Norma Johnson.

While these are the facts of Jason’s life, he was so much more to so many people. Jason was someone you could always count on—whether you needed help moving, someone to help you plan for the future, a late night laugh, or simply a hand to hold through tragedy. He showed up for the people he loved, time and time again. Because of that, his circle of friends stretched far and wide, and everyone who knew Jason loved him. Even in his passing, Jason continued to give to others. Through organ donation, a part of Jason’s legacy will live on by giving others the opportunity for more time, more memories, and more moments with the people they love.

Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, with a Celebration of Jason's life at 4:00 pm, on Sunday, October 4, 2026 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville.
