Janet Sue Hulett

December 20, 1959 — February 4, 2021

Janet Sue Hulett

On Thursday February 4th, 2021 God called upon one of his most beloved children to come home to him; Janet Sue Riggin Hulett, 61, passed away peacefully in her home in Westfield, Indiana.

Jeremiah 15:16
“Your words were found, and I ate them, and your words became to me a joy and the delight of the heart, for I am called by your name, O Lord, God of hosts.”

Janet has longed to be with her Lord and Savior, as well as reconnect with her mother, Brenda Riggin; father, Herman Riggin; and twin brother, John Riggin.

Janet was born in Chicago, Illinois on December 20, 1959. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Amanda Hunt, 31 and Brittany Hunt, 29; and her younger sisters, Elaine Black and Karen Boden.  Janet loved, cherished and spoiled her three grandbabies, Tristan Hunt, 11, Corbin Artman, 7, and Adeline Artman, 1.

Janet was the best Grandmother; she loved taking them to the park, the Zoo, McDonalds for Ice Cream, and going to the store for toys. They were her light and Joy.

Janet lit up every room she walked in with her positive energy, beautiful smile and her loving heart that sought out everyone’s name and attention. She had a ginormous heart for everyone that she met and a special way of connecting with people, allowing them to open up their hearts to her. That made everyone she met feel like they have known her for years; she truly never knew a stranger.  Janet had a deep desire for helping others and a natural maternal charisma that made you feel safe and loved. Janet had an optimistic outlook on life, that generated from her strong sense of faith and her strong relationship with Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior. She loved waking up every morning with her coffee, cigarette and opening up her bible for her time of devotion. She spent most of her days studying the word of God, writing out her favorite scriptures and talking with her beloved father, Jesus Christ.

“You are going to be okay. No matter what happens. You are going to make it through. Jesus is with you, like he’s always been. Everything around you may change, but he will still be there, walking with you, fighting for you, loving you. So, don’t worry about what tomorrow will be bring. The one who gave up his very life for you will take care of you. You’re going to be okay.”

Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, with services beginning at 2:00 pm, on Friday, February 12, 2021 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street in Noblesville.
