James V. Mazetis

James V. Mazetis of Winter Haven, Florida died on July 29, 2024 at the age of 79. James was born in Canonsburg, PA on October 10, 1944 to Julia Ann (Alisesky) Mazetis and Vincent Paul Mazetis, both of which preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Linda Sue (Cochran) Mazetis, Daughter Sherri Kemper and her Husband, Michael Kemper, and their daughter, Mikayla. Also surviving, their Son, Eric Mazetis, his wife Kerri Ann, and their children, Bryce and Aliyah. Several cousins and one Aunt, Esther Alisesky also are surviving.

Jim had a long career as an Organic Chemist. He worked mainly in the food flavor industry. It became a passion for him to be involved in natural chemicals to provide safe ingredients for the foods everyone would enjoy. That industry took us to many cities to live for his work. His main hobby was gardening. We always had a garden for vegetables and herbs.

We retired to Florida in 2017. He had a garden there until he became ill.

His funeral service will be held at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 9900 E. 191st. Street in Noblesville, IN on September 27, 2024 at 11:00 am.

There will be a one hour visitation prior to Mass beginning at 10:00 am.

Randall & Roberts Funeral Home will be assisting with burial. The remains will be placed in his cremation niche at Crownland Cemetery at 1776 Monument St, Noblesville.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like everyone to make a donation in Jim’s name to their charity of choice.
