James Edward Lucas

James Edward Lucas passed away on November 3, 2026. He will be remembered by his family and all those whose lives he touched throughout his years.

James is survived by his six children: Charles Lucas, Dean Cook, Curtis Lucas, Raymond Lucas, Jaime Sanders, and Christina Gourdon. He also leaves behind 14 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and an abundance of nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his siblings Ronald Lucas, Karen Catlett, Becky Hall, and Denise Young.

James was preceded in death by his first wife, Luz Lucas; his parents; his third wife, Linda Lucas; his second wife, Rebecca Womack; and his sister, Cheryl Ruckman.

He leaves behind a large family and many memories that will continue to be shared for generations. He will be missed by those who knew and loved him.
