Ivan "Christopher" Poor

Ivan “Christopher” Poor, 51, of Noblesville, passed away on Friday, June 7, 2024 in Noblesville, Indiana. Born on January 24, 1973, to the late Ivan Poor and Kathy (Jarnagin) Carnes in Muncie, Indiana, Ivan's passionate spirit was evident from an early age. He graduated from Muncie Southside Highschool in 1991 and pursued higher education at Ball State University. For work, he ventured to Indianapolis where he met his wife, Ann (Cooper) Poor, on a blind date. Their journey together bloomed with the arrival of twin daughters in 1994. 
 
Ivan worked his way up in the automotive industry for over 27 years, culminating in the achievement of titles President and COO for several companies. His dedication to providing for his family was unwavering, driven by a remarkable work ethic and a heart brimming with love. Ivan cherished his role as a father and husband, consistently placing the needs of others above his own.

He found joy in music and concerts, especially The Eagles. Ivan loved playing both traditional and frisbee golf. Sports held a special place in his heart, as he was an avid football fan of both the Colts and 49ers, and followed the Cardinals and Cubs in baseball. 
 
Ivan’s memory will be forever held by his surviving family: his wife, Ann Poor; daughters, Brooke Jackson (Don), and Megan DeWael (Erik); grandson, James DeWael; brother, Stephen Poor (Christi); and several nieces & nephews.
 
Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, with services following at 2:00 pm, on Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville. Officiating the service will be John Newton of Northview Church.

As we gather to bid farewell to Ivan, let us take comfort in the memories we shared and the legacy he leaves behind—a testament to a life lived with passion, integrity, and boundless love.
