Grant Henry Williams

Grant Henry Williams, 51, of Indianapolis, passed away on Friday, November 11, 2022 at Allisonville Meadows in Fishers.  He was born on February 26, 1971 in Terre Haute, Indiana.

Grant was my precious, sweet son.  He would have had the world at his fingertips.  He was naturally intelligent. He was extremely poetically and artistically talented.  He had a wonderful personality with a great sense of humor.  He never knew a stranger.  He was sweet and generous.  Everyone loved Grant, especially the girls, since he was also very handsome.

When he was 18 he was diagnosed with Schizoaffective disorder, a devastating mental illness.  For 33 years, he suffered from this disorder which robbed him of all his potential for a normal, happy, fulfilling life.  It was very heartbreaking!

He is at peace with the Lord now.  He is finally free from the prisoner of his mind and from the pain in his body from stage four cancer.  I can’t wait to see him again in heaven in his glorified body.  He was and is my sweet boy!

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at Castleton Community Church, 5825 East 91st Street in Indianapolis.  Everyone is welcome to attend.
