George N. Pappas

George N. Pappas, 87, of Noblesville, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2022 at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis.  He was born on March 28, 1935 to Nick and Zoi (Siamas) Pappas in Indianapolis, Indiana.

George proudly served his country in the United States Army.  He received a Bachelor's degree from Indiana Central and an MBA from the University of Indianapolis.  George worked as Branch Chief for the US Army and US Customs.  He loved water skiing and boating, and collected Mazda RX7s.  His favorite food was popcorn.

George is survived by his daughter, Kathy (Scott) Troiano; brother, Mike Pappas; grandchildren, Nick and Katie Troiano; many nieces and nephews; and his beloved Shih Tzu, Georgio.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann Pappas; sisters, Aglaia Keck and Mary Hash; and his brothers, Jim, Bill, and Efthemes Pappas.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, with services at 11:00 am, on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at Holy Apostles Greek Orthodox Church, 4550 North Central Avenue, in Indianapolis.  Burial will be at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery in Indianapolis.
