George Brian Graves

George Brian Graves, 87, of Noblesville, Indiana, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 30, 2025, at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. He was born February 23, 1938 to Julian and Bernice (Harker) Graves in Spencer, Iowa.

George graduated from Emmetsburg High School in Emmetsburg, IA in 1956 as class valedictorian, and graduated from the University of Iowa with a B.A. in Economics in 1961.

He was the founder and owner of Supply Warehouse, Inc. in Noblesville, from which he retired in 2012. George loved life, fishing, people, and God. He was very outgoing and always had a new word or a joke to share, even for children he would meet. Outside of work he volunteered in Cub Scouts and enjoyed his time with family, friends, and in lifelong service to his church and community. He loved his wife and was a very caring and loving husband.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 64 years, Jean Lorraine Graves; four children: David Graves of Noblesville, Julie Snow (Daren) of Plano, IL, Barbie Huck (Dan) of Hopkinsville, KY, Stephen Graves (Tiffany) of Noblesville; eight grandchildren: Mac Graves (Micaela), Abbey Hofmeyr (Servaas), Allison Eller (Mason), Lauren Worst (Matt), Chloe Ellis (Devin), Christy Huehls (Jeremy), Rachel White (Alex), Theodore Graves; and 6 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ted Graves.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, June 6, 2025, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
