Gary Ray Kapperman, 87, of Noblesville, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at Wellbrooke of Westfield in Westfield. He was born on June 20, 1938 to Carl Raymond and Lillie Belle (Williams) Kapperman in Evansville, Indiana.

Gary proudly served in the United States Army, initially stationed in The Philippines and later in Africa for 2 1/2 years. He served as a captain in the signal corp. After the military Gary graduated from Purdue University and was a chemical engineer for Pfizer. He was a member of the Sons of American Revolution and attended St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Terre Haute. Gary enjoyed woodworking, making furniture, and collecting stamps.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy Regina Kapperman; sons, Raymond Scott (Leiann) Kapperman, Barrett Gibson (Sherry) Kapperman, and Devlin Neil Kapperman; daughter, Regina Noel (Mark) May; grandchildren, Sarah Lynn Kapperman, Raymond Andrew Kapperman, Adam Scott Kapperman, Sophia Belle Kapperman, Ryan James Kapperman, and Hayden Lucas May; cousin, Cora Mae Nuffer; and cousin, Deanna Mae Mauriello.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside services will be at Marion National Cemetery in Marion, Indiana on December 2, 2025 at 10:00 am with military rites.
