Francis Bailey

Francis G. Bailey, 94, Noblesville, passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at Riverview Hospital in Noblesville. He was born October 7, 1913 in Elwood, Indiana to Dora (Parr) and Frank Bailey.
Francis worked on the production line at Chrysler in Kokomo for 24 1/2 years, retiring in 1977. He graduated from Elwood Wendell Willkie High School in 1932 and was a member of First Church of God, in Noblesville, Indiana.
He was a life-member of Noblesville Senior Citizens, where he was also a former member of the Sing-A-Longs and a volunteer at the Noblesville Recyling Center; was an avid golfer, and racing fan (especially the Indianapolis 500); and loved chocolate and music (especially Big Band music). Francis and Eva were married in 1992.
He is survived by his wife Eva J. Bailey of Noblesville; sons, Don (& Julia) Bailey of Noblesville, & Dennis J. (& Susie) Bailey of Atlanta, IN; step-sons, Ron (& Pat) Pouch of Noblesville, Fred (& Wanda) James of Indianapolis, & David (& Andrea) James of Noblesville; 14 grandchildren; and 23 great-granchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son, David L. 'Moon' Bailey; sisters, Thelma Borst, Laverna Booth, & Lillian Reese; and brothers, Jim & Maurice Bailey.
Services will be held at 2:00PM on Monday, May 5, 2008 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home in Noblesville, with Rev. Rich Meyer officiating. Friends may call Sunday, May 4, 2:00 - 5:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Cicero Cemetery.
