Evelyn Marie Morancey, 93, of Noblesville, passed away on Sunday, August 3, 2025. She was born on October 7, 1931 to Gustav and Selma (Rosburg) Schultz in Park Rapids, Minnesota.
Evelyn was a life-long member of the Missouri Synod Lutheran Church. She was lucky enough to travel all over the world in her lifetime. Evelyn was an amazing cook and often chose to make dishes she had tasted and loved on her travels, much to her family's delight! Dinner at the Morancey's was always something special!
Evelyn loved to watch baseball, especially when her grandson, Joel, was playing. She would have loved to be able to watch all of her talented great-grandkids play their favorite sports if her health would have been good. Evelyn loved to grow plants and beautiful flowers as she had quite the green thumb! She also loved living in her condo in Florida by her family. Evelyn so enjoyed her nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her son, Randy (Patricia) Morancey; daughter, Rebecca Morancey; six grandchildren, Kara (Jason) Smith, Joel (Rewa) Peters, Erik (Rachel) Morancey, Courtni Peters, Adam (Emily) Morancey, and Meagan Morancey; ten great-grandchildren, Mason Erik, Elijah Hayes, Amelia Estelle, Meadow Evelyn, Eli Andrew, Caroline Rose, Ella Reese, Isabel Ainsley, August Hudson, and Madilyn Ann; and her great-great-granddaughter, Lia Rose.
In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her son, Rick Morancey, two sisters, Meta & Arlene, three brothers, Carl, Rudy & Herb.
Private family services will be held.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the GoFundMe account for Evelyn's great-grandson, Mason Morancey (https://www.gofundme.com/f/uph9d-support-masons-journey-to-recovery).
