Eldridge George âAl' Lindsey, 83, passed away on October 9, 2014 in Indianapolis, following a long and courageous battle against cancer.
Al was a native New Englander, born and raised in Hampton, NH, and maintained strong ties to his hometown throughout his life. He was a graduate of Springfield College in Massachusetts and served in the US Army during the Korean War, completing duty in 1955. Following his military service, he took up a career in the insurance industry. He made the move to Indianapolis in the late 50's where he continued his work in the field of insurance, making it his lifelong profession. Al adapted easily to life in the Midwest and made an abundance of lasting friendships. He was an active member of the Murat Shrine for 55 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Dorothy (Eldridge) Lindsey.
Interment will be in the Hampton, NH, High Street Cemetery, beside his parents.
The excellent care expertly and gently administered by Al's Community Home Health Care Hospice team is deeply appreciated.
