Elda Whitenight

Elda Whitenight, 89, of Fishers, passed away on Monday, October 28, 2019 at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis.  She was born on April 7, 1930 in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania.

Elda was a 1948 graduate of Benton High School.  She was a clerical worker for over 20 years and "mothered" many people throughout her career.  Elda loved nature, going on walks and birdwatching.  She was a very friendly lady and her friends were very important to her.  Most of all, Elda loved her family.

She is survived by her daughter, Lacinda (John) Hobbs; and her grandson, Tyler Hobbs.  Elda was preceded in death by her father, Fred Pealer; mother, Leah (Hartman) Hidlay; brother, Keith Pealer; and sister, Sceva Laubach.

Services will be held at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road in Fishers, with visitation from 5:00 pm to the time of service.
