Edwin A. Ziliak, 95, of Noblesville, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at Independence Village of Fishers East in Fishers. He was born on January 31, 1931 to Edwin and Cecelia (Obert) Ziliak in Evansville, Indiana, and was a 1949 graduate of Evansville Memorial High School.
Ed worked for Sears Roebuck & Co. for 36 years, retiring in 1989 as a store manager in Springfield, Ohio. He was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Noblesville, a retired member of the Rotary Club, and past president of the Springfield Ohio Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of the Board of Mercy Hospital in Springfield. Ed was an avid golfer and volunteered at the Heritage Golf Tournament.
He is survived by his wife, Donna M. Ziliak; daughter, Kathleen (Jay) Shipley; sons, Michael J. Ziliak and Thomas D. Ziliak; brothers, Donald (Jean) Ziliak, Lawrence Ziliak, and Jerome (Barbara) Ziliak; 3 grandchildren, Matthew (Sharla) Snyder, Eric (Ashley) Snyder, and Amanda Snyder; and 5 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his brother, Rev. Joseph Ziliak.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, with Mass at 11:00 am, on Thursday, May 28, 2026 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 9900 East 191st Street, in Noblesville.
