Dorothy Jean Lindstaedt

Dorothy Jean Lindstaedt, 100, of Indianapolis, passed away on Saturday, December 27, 2025 at Westminster Village North in Indianapolis. She was born on June 23, 1925 to Glen and Martha (Hawkins) Chenoweth in Winchester, Indiana.

Jean was a bank teller for many years before retiring. She enjoyed cooking with foods grown in her garden and from her fruit trees. Jean liked reading, doing crossword puzzles, traveling, and playing cards. She enjoyed looking up her family genealogy. Most of all, Jean loved listening to music and spending time with family.

She is survived by her children, Nancy Huff, Karen Weiser, and Thomas (Nancy) Keesling; grandchildren, Douglas (Lisa) Weiser, Chris Weiser, Megan Huff, and Brenna (Drew) Payne; great grandson, Jacob Weiser; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, James Keesling and Richard Lindstaedt; daughter, Carla Jo Keesling; brother, James Chenoweth; and sister, Margaret Parsons passed away the day after Jean.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Friday, January 2, 2026 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, in Noblesville. Burial will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 3, 2026 at Spartanburg Cemetery in Spartanburg, Indiana.
