Doris Moyer

Doris June Moyer , 90, of Noblesville, passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Prairie Lakes Health Campus in Noblesville.  She was born on April 1, 1931 to James and Myrtle (Larrison) Whitehead in Robinson, Illinois.

Doris married Edgar Moyer in February 1954; they were married for 59 years.  She worked for Kroger for over 20 years.  Doris was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking and watching Hallmark movies and shows.  She loved spending time with her kids and grandkids, especially watching their sporting events and activities.  Most of all, Doris loved her family.

She is survived by her sons, John (Mary Jo) Moyer, Mark (Terri) Moyer, and Ron (Susie) Moyer; daughters, Kimberly (Bob) Pace, and Cynthia (Jim) Spivey; 13 grandchildren, Molly (Jake) King, Kristina (Chris) Tucker, Matt (Katherine) Moyer, Ryan Moyer, Travis (Jinna) Moyer, Stephanie (Matt) Murray, Brian (Michelle) Pace, Sebastian (Shannon) Spivey, Sammy Spivey, Simon Spivey, Conner Moyer, Cam Moyer, and Peter, Nicholas, and Bobby Sligh; and 11 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Moyer; and her sisters, Mary Ellen Adcock, Jean Poindexter, Dana Hargis, and Fran Seaney.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Crownland Cemetery, 1776 Monument Street, in Noblesville.  Graveside services will follow at 1:00 pm with Pastor Doug Kizer officiating.

Please enter Crownland through the 16th Street entrance.
