Donald Joseph Nolan Jr.

Donald Joseph Nolan Jr., 74, of Fishers, passed away on Friday, July 28, 2023 at Prairie Lakes Health Campus in Noblesville.  He was born on July 28, 1949 to the late Donald and Anna Rita (Gavaghan) Nolan in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Donald proudly served in the United States Navy and the Indiana National Guard for 19 years. He worked for Meijer and ran the back room for many years. Donald was a very hard worker, and loved his job and all of his coworkers. He never met a stranger and anyone he came in contact with was always a friend.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Phyllis Nolan, whom he adored tremendously.  They spent every moment together when they could after Don worked over 60 hours a week.  He has 2 children, Terry and Randy that he loved so much; and 3 fur babies, Raggy, Jaxon and Jakob, who were like his kids.  Don has 5 beautiful grandchildren of which he was very proud, Amanda Reed, Rachel Wernersbach, Jake Woloshin, Zachary Woloshin and Justin Moore; and 4 great-grandchildren with 1 on the way. He is survived by 3 siblings, Mary Anne Mitchel, Terry Hergenrather, and Mike Nolan.  Don loved being with his family especially at family gatherings.  He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

A Celebration of Life visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, in Fishers.
