Dennis Lee Monroe

Dennis Lee Monroe, 71, of Noblesville, passed away at home on August 22, 2022 after a long illness with his wife and daughter at his side.

He was born in Indianapolis to Floyd K. and Mildred M. Monroe of Beech Grove, Indiana.  Dennis graduated from Emmerich Manual High School in 1968 and later from Indiana University.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Vicki; his children, Lindsay and Christopher Monroe; grandson, Luca Monroe; and brother-in-law, George S. Smart III of Palm Springs, California.

The family would like to thank his primary oncologist, Dr. Andrew Greenspan, at the IU Health Schwarz Cancer Center, and his many skilled care providers.

At Dennis’s request, a private Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.
