Delvin Dompier , 88, of Noblesville, Indiana, passed away of natural causes at 11:15 am on Thursday, January 6, 2022 surrounded by his family at Harbour Manor in Noblesville. He was born on August 27, 1933 in Harvey, North Dakota.
Delvin proudly served 41 years in the United States Army and retired as a Chief Warrant Officer 5. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, and was a longtime kids soccer coach. Most of all Delvin loved spending time with friends and family.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years Karen Dompier; son, John (Michelle) Dompier; sister, Donelle (Mick) Heilman; 2 granddaughters, Jessica Dompier and Sydney Dompier; grandson, Jack Dompier; great-grandson, Jax Dompier; and 1 great-granddaughter on the way, Luna.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Marguerite Dompier.
There are no services scheduled at this time. Burial will take place at a later date at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minnesota.
