Delene Jefferies Kramer

Delene Jefferies Kramer, of Noblesville, 69, went home to be with her heavenly father on Tuesday, May 17, 2022.

Delene was born July 17, 1952, to Milo and Betty (McDaniel) Jefferies in Marion, IN.  She graduated from Marion High School in 1969.  Delene enjoyed being an administrative assistant for various companies throughout her adult life up until her retirement in 2008.

Delene’s love in life was her family.  She was proud of her two sons, Jared and Brett.  She could be found at all her kid’s activities when they were younger helping as team mom, volunteering as president of the PTA and always being at the ball fields.  Her joy came from her two grandchildren: Cameron and Katie.  She beamed with delight with every achievement and every story that involved her grandchildren.  Delene also loved crafting; she enjoyed crocheting, sewing, small craft projects and cooking.

She is survived by son, Jared Kramer of Westfield; sisters, Debbie (Larry) Thompson of Matthews, and Deah Ann (Russ) Kinder of LaFontaine; sister-in-law, Janie Jefferies of Fairmount; daughter-in-law, Lisa Kramer of Overland Park, KS; stepchildren, Darrell (Toyua) Kramer of Austin, TX, and Whitney (Robbie) Hopkins of Ochlocknee, GA; grandchildren, Cameron and Katie Kramer of Noblesville; and several nieces and nephews.

Delene is preceded in death by her son, Brett Kramer; her parents, Milo and Betty Jefferies of Marion; brother, Milo (Dewey) Jefferies Jr. of Fairmount; sister, Daena Shaffer of Gas City; and stepson, Eric Kramer of Thomasville, GA.

Friends and family are welcome to share stories of Delene’s wonderful life during a Celebration of Life which will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville.  Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to the time of service at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Grant Memorial Park in Marion, IN at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692 (www.heart.org); or Humane Society for Hamilton County, 10501 Hague Road, Fishers, IN 46038 (www.hamiltonhumane.com).
