Del Linn

Del Linn, 58, passed away at home on July 5, 2026. Born in Lafayette, Indiana, Del is survived by his daughter Reagan, his mother Juanita, his sister Carrie (Joe Brink), and nieces Margaret and Rebecca, and nephew Andrew. He was preceded in death by his father, Garry.

Del graduated from Harrison High School and Purdue University (1999) with a degree in Management.

Married briefly to Marin (2001-2005), their daughter Reagan was the product of that union, and she was the apple of her father’s eye. Del and Reagan shared many Lego projects and regular adventures at zoos and museums.

Del made friends easily. His general interest in history extended to the individual; he enjoyed meeting people, and hearing about their experiences. Del made it a priority to attend family reunions, where he collected stories and told them in equal measure.

An avid sports fan, Del cheered for all things relative to Indiana sports: IU, Purdue, the Colts, and Pacers. He attended many Indy 500 races, collected baseball cards from a young age, and played a lot of golf.

We hope Del has found the peace he did not realize in his time here. We are planning a celebration of Del’s life in August, details pending.
