Debra Ilene Laurie, 58, of Converse, passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2026 at her home. She was born on October 10, 1967 to James David and Rachel (Goff) Carson in Noblesville, Indiana.
Deb enjoyed eating her favorite food, seafood, and watching the Hallmark & Disney Channels and the Golden Girls. She would take the shirt off of her own back to help someone. Deb would go out of her way to help anyone that needed it, she loved helping those in need. Deb loved camping with her family wherever they went and going to concerts with Deidra and Jamie. Most of all Deb loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Rob Laurie; father, James David Carson; sons, Justin Laurie, Kevin (Gwenevier) Laurie, and Allen Gaunce, Jr.; grandchildren, Dayton, Ayva, Memphis, Dallas, and Lincoln; sister, Jamie Carson; brother, Franklin (Shayna) Carson; nieces and nephews, Kendra Carson, Danielle Sons, Wyatt Carson, and Christopher Palmer; aunt/best friend, Deidra Harris; and many other aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Rachel Goff Carson; grandma, Violet Day; cousin, Kimberly Coonce; and close friends, William Ruda and Terry Moon.
Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday February 20, 2026 at Riverwood Community Center on Hiawatha Drive in Noblesville, Indiana with Pastor Ken Winton officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until the time of service at the center. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Noblesville.
