Debra Denise Groce

Debra Denise Groce, 58, of Gas City, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2023 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.  She was born on September 6, 1964 in Glasgow, Kentucky.

Debra did computer coding in the healthcare industry for many years. She liked being outside, doing planting and landscaping. Debra enjoyed trips to the ocean. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren. 

She is survived by her son, Thomas Majors; daughter, Nereka Majors; brother, Marshall Birge; sisters, Trisha Clark and Gail Adwell; and grandchildren, Aaliyah and Tucker.

She was preceded in death by her father, Marshall Birge; and mother, Jewell (Brummette) Higginbotham.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, May 19, 2023 at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road in Fishers.  Visitation will be from 11:00 am to the time of service at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
