David Lloyd Winkler

David Lloyd Winkler, 77, of Noblesville, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at his home. He was born on August 26, 1948 to Floyd and Barbara (Jester) Winkler in Indianapolis, Indiana.

David proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War in 1968. He worked as a construction contractor. Dave always loved music and played guitar most of his life. He enjoyed watching football and basketball, and played baseball in his youth. He loved being "Uncle Dave" to his many nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his brother, Steve Winkler; sister, Jeanette Winkler; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Dave was preceded in death by his sister, Teresa Celarek; nephew, Robert Ryan Smoot; and many aunts and uncles.

Graveside services with military honors will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, October 6, 2025 at Highland Cemetery, 11171 Hoosier Road, in Fishers.
