David James Klyczek

David James Klyczek, 69, of Westfield, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 1, 2026 at his home. He was born on August 14, 1957 to Eugene and Dolores (Kostka) Klyczek in Chicago Heights, Illinois.

For 33 years, David worked as a machine repairman at Gerresheimer Glass Inc. He was a Chicago sports fan of the White Sox, Bears, and Blackhawks, and the University of Illinois. David enjoyed making memories on the family trips. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family. David was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather "Papi" who will be dearly missed.

David is survived by his daughter, Kate Sprouse; son, Alex (Lauren) Klyczek; grandchildren, Brynn Sprouse, McKenna Sprouse, Ava Klyczek, and Liam Klyczek; and his siblings, Anthony "Bud" (Kathy) Klyczek, Debbie (Clark) Schreiber, Steve (Sharon) Klyczek, Bobby (Deanna) Klyczek, and Mark (Patti) Klyczek.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Karen Ann Klyczek; and his son-in-law, Casey Justin Sprouse.

A celebration of David's life will be held at a later date.
