Daniel “Danny” Joseph Hogan, 58 passed away peacefully in his sleep Tuesday July 28, 2026.

Danny was the proud son of Michael Hogan and Beverly (nee Bell) Hogan, and younger brother to Andrew Scott Hogan. Born in Indianapolis on March 25, 1968, the Hogan family soon ventured their way to Fishers Indiana in 1973, becoming one of the pioneering 604 residents of the quaint little town. The neighborhood Cottingham Estates would welcome the young family and become the source of a lifetime supply of friendships and memories, still precious to this day. Danny’s unsurpassed love of the Dallas Cowboy’s was instigated by countless days of playing “cowboys & Indians” with neighborhood friends. He still held high hopes for the Dallas Cowboys to the very end.

Danny travelled his way through the Hamilton Southeastern School system and to Ball State University where he studied Construction Engineering before the lure of business ownership sparked his attention.

Danny followed his passion and became an independent contractor for 37 years, building remarkable and lasting structures and improving the lives of many with his talents and expertise. There wasn’t much Danny couldn’t fix or do. That love of growing small things into bigger things spilled over into Danny’s incredible green thumb and his wondrous ability to grow house plants.

But it was his daughter Ava Danielle Hogan who he affectionately called “BB Girl”, that was his greatest accomplishment and his ultimate source of pride. He loved her fiercely.

Danny is survived by his daughter, Ava Danielle Hogan; parents, Michael Hogan and Beverly Hogan; his loving and loyal brother, Andrew “Drew” Hogan (wife Amy); and nephews, Daniel Montieth, Joshua Montieth and Timothy Hogan. He also leaves behind his friend and former wife, Dede Hogan.

Dan led life as he would have it, with no regrets. He was as authentic as they get and lived life “his way”.
