Dale Klingensmith

Dale R. Klingensmith, 93, of Carmel, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at his home surrounded by his family.  He was born on November 26, 1929 to Roy and Jessie (Dubree) Klingensmith in Carmel, Indiana.

Dale was a farmer and mail carrier for Carmel. He was a member of Gray Friends Church. Dale enjoyed ballroom and square dancing, going to Strawtown Sale Barn and the 4-H Fair. He was a simple man who enjoyed the simple things in life. 

He is survived by his daughters, Michelle (Keith) Shaffer and Tamara Klingensmith; grandchildren, Ayrelle, Kaitie, Mary Beth, MacKenzie, Becky, Quinton, Tara, and Shelby; 10 great-grandchildren; and son of his long-time best friend, Brad Davis.

In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara (Helt) Klingensmith; second wife, Yvonne Coker; sister, Norma Bailey; brothers, Keith Klingensmith and Howard Klingensmith; and his long-time best friend, Mary Ann Davis.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, June 22, 2023 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street in Noblesville, with Pastor David Webster officiating.  Visitation will be from 11:00 am to the time of service at the funeral home.  Burial will be at Gray Friends Cemetery in Noblesville.
