Curtis Lee Bergman

Curtis Lee Bergman, 58, moved on to be with the Lord on July 7, 2022 after suffering from heart failure at home.  He was born Feb. 16, 1964 in Appleton, Wisconsin to Charles E. Bergman & Carolyn G. (Becher) Bergman Osborn.

He moved to Defiance Ohio with his family in 1974 and attended Defiance City Schools. Curt enlisted in the Marines in 1982 and proudly served for years after. He battled PTSD and other health issues with a strong force.

Curt was an independent, adventurous soul, unafraid of anything and always determined to follow through what he set his mind on. For the past 2 years he lived in Noblesville, Indiana with his sister, Carleen, enjoying Morse Lake, catching up with family, cheering on the Green Bay Packers.

Curt was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.  He is survived by his sisters, Carrie (Tony) Homier of Defiance, OH, and Carleen Bergman of Noblesville, IN; brother, Chris Bergman of Defiance; his son, Travis Bergman; as well as 5 nieces & nephews.

Graveside services with military honors will take place in Riverside Cemetery in Defiance, Ohio.
