Christy Lynn Casbeer

Christy Lynn Casbeer, 68, of Fishers, Indiana, passed away peacefully at her home on July 23, 2026, surrounded by the love of her immediate family.

Born in Homer, Illinois, on September 17, 1957, to Paul and Jeane Taylor, Christy's journey led her to Titusville, Florida, where she became a proud graduate of one of the first classes at Astronaut High School. While she witnessed the dawn of a new era in space exploration, Christy's own universe would revolve around her family.

Her life was a testament to selfless love and devotion. She gave one hundred percent of herself to her children and grandchildren, and her greatest happiness was found in their presence. Her home was a sanctuary of warmth and support; built upon the sacrifices she made for her family's well-being. Christy's legacy is one of kindness, carried on through the lives she touched with her warm heart, infectious smile, and consistently caring words. Her memory will be cherished by all who had the good fortune to know her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Taylor.

Christy’s memory is lovingly carried on by her husband, Scott Casbeer; her mother, Jeane Taylor; her children, Kevin (Heather) Glydewell, Justin (Heather) Glydewell, Kelly (Larry) Williams, and Jodi Glydewell; and her siblings, Denise (Don) Payton, Teri Barker, Paul “Gregory” (Lisa) Taylor, and Jonathan “Jon” (Elita) Taylor. She was a beloved grandmother to fifteen grandchildren and one great-grandson, and a treasured aunt to her many nieces and nephews.
