Charles William "Buddy" Campbell

Charles William (Buddy) Campbell, 79, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2023 in his home in Noblesville, IN.  He was born in Lincoln County, KY on June 21, 1943 to William and Mildred (Naylor) Campbell.

Buddy, along with his parents and sister Louise, moved from Kentucky to Indiana, and settled in Kokomo.  He eventually moved to Noblesville.  Having worked at the Rainbo Roller rink for a short time, he worked most of his adult life at the Noblesville Casting foundry.  Buddy was a hard-working, simple man that was always willing to help others and share a joke.  When he wasn’t working, he preferred to be fishing, garage selling, or talking to friends at the Sale Barn.  He loved collecting knives, watches, and anything he thought was a good deal, but he loved people the most, especially his family.   

He is survived by his wife Mary Jo (Gatewood) Campbell of 40 years, sons Charles William (Chuck) Campbell, Jr; John (Traci) Campbell; Brian (Mendy) Campbell; Randy Capps; and daughters Stephanie (Tony) Dell; and Stacie Campbell.  His Grandchildren are Mitchell Campbell; Bailey (Alexandra) Campbell; Jennifer Campbell; Blake Campbell; and Samantha Dell.  He is preceded in death by grandchildren Charles (Charlie) Campbell, III and Jessica Campbell.

A celebration of life will be determined at a later date.
