Cecilia Norton

Cecilia Norton, 92, of Fishers, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, July 3, 2026 at Hamilton Trace of Fishers, IN. She was born on April 23, 1934 to Cecil and Alice (Webb) Boyer in Parma, Missouri.

Cecilia was a 1962 graduate of Indiana University and received a master's degree from Butler University in 1976. She worked as an elementary school teacher for many years. Cecilia was a former member of First Baptist Church of Indianapolis. She was a faithful, servant-hearted caregiver to her husband, in-laws, and to close neighbors. She also was dedicated in supporting various ministries through her church.

She is survived by her daughters, Carla (Larry) Morrow and Cathy (Greg) Habegger; grandchildren, Collin Morrow, Logan Morrow, Emily Morrow, Jack (Demi) Habegger, and Ben Habegger; great-grandson, Chase Keys; and her brother, Larry Boyer.

In addition to her parents, Cecilia was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Norton; grandson, Will Matthew Habegger; brothers, Ralph Boyer, Robert Boyer, and Gary Boyer; and her sisters, Norma Jean Wheeler and Sue Branum.

Cecilia’s family wishes to thank Legacy Hospice LLC of Carmel for their dedication and loving care for the past 7 months; specifically Joan, Trinity, Jordan, & Kate. In addition, the family also appreciates the support and kindness extended to our mom and us from the staff at Hamilton Trace.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, 9700 Allisonville Road in Indianapolis, with Pastor Randy Gilmore officiating. Please be advised that Allisonville Road has construction that will slow traffic.
