Cassandra (Cassie) May Eikenberry, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at 20 years of age. She was born on October 10, 2005, in Noblesville, Indiana.
Cassie was an angel descended to Earth, the most loving, compassionate, considerate person you’d ever meet. She showed unconditional love and empathy to everyone she met and lived her life for others, always doing what she could to help those in need. The true extent of Cassie’s passion showed when she was taking care of animals and young children. While living alongside her soulmate, Ashton Hammack, the pair looked after an assortment of animals, core to their lives. Cosmo was her first baby, the ball python. Oliver, her spirit animal, the ever-ornery orange tabby. Draco “Draco fat-boi" the loving fat bi-color cat. And of course, Winston, the pitbull terrier mix, who she rescued from the Humane Society. Her little people were her world, including Junior, her baby brother, Ryleigh Eikenberry (cousin), Landin Eikenberry(cousin), Khloe Hammack, Peyton Hammack, Noah Parks, and Little Willow. Cassie loved dressing up and always had an eye for fashion, always putting together a killer outfit for any occasion. But she also shared an eye for decor and interior design with her grandmother, Karen Eikenberry. She reinvented any and every living space for each season, breathing life into the atmosphere of any place she decorated. She paired this with the artistic talents she shared with her mother, Contessa Perez Eikenberry, that produced masterpieces that both perfectly complemented her other decorations and injected individuality and personality into every room she touched. Just as Cassie loved people, she loved planning parties, buying gifts, and creating activities to show them her love. She used her unique blend of intelligence, creativity, passion, and humor to humbly express herself, always staying humble and true to herself, till the day she ascended to rejoin the Lord.
So many people played large roles in Cassie’s life, here are a few highlighted that she was especially close with, who got to experience the full extent of her love. Cassie’s mother, Contessa, was one of the biggest inspirations to Cassie as she grew up, seeing her mother persevere and do her best to provide for her and her siblings. Felix Perez Martinez, Cassie's stepfather did his best to play the role of a father figure to Cassie when he could. Her siblings, Jasmine Eikenberry, Gracie Perez Martinez, David Perez Martinez, Samantha Perez Martinez, and Felix Perez, who is lovingly referred to as Junior. Cassie loved all her siblings and learned all different aspects of life as she grew up alongside them. Every single one of them held that special place on her nerves and in her heart that no other could ever match. Cassie, Jasmine, and their cousin Cadence Eikenberry spent a lot of time together and were inseparable early on. Her aunts and uncles, such as Malinda Eikenberry, Michael “Uncle Bubby” Eikenberry, and his wife Aubrey Eikenberry played important roles as supporters when needed. Uncle Bubby would take the girls to father-daughter dances when they were younger, and Aunt Malinda was a safe person to talk to when Cassie needed as she got older. Her grandmother, Karen Eikenberry, was a huge supporter of everything Cassie did, from helping her feed the homeless to interior design. Cassie’s great grandmother lovingly coined “granny” was someone Cassie always wished she could have spent more time with but someone who was extremely important to her. And Ashton, Ashton was Cassie’s person, her forever soulmate. Together, the pair found true, eternal love.
We would like to take this time to remind you that someone loves you, no matter how alone you may think you are, someone out there loves and cares for you. Someone would love to be there for you and all you have to do is ask or call 988.
We would also like to ask and encourage that instead of sending flowers you please donate to your local animal shelter and to go forward in life doing acts of kindness in Cassie’s name and memory. She always did what she could for those less fortunate and we feel this would be the best way to honor her.
