Carolyn Sue Dye

Carolyn Sue Dye was born November 3, 1933 to Josephine (Fisher) and Carl Priest of Anderson and died November 1, 2026 at The Crossings of Noblesville following a prolonged illness.

Sue is predeceased by her parents; her brother, Richard Priest; and her husband, Rev. Dwight Dye.

She leaves behind a daughter, Linda (John) Ellis; son, Mark Dye; as well as three grandsons, John Ellis, Sean Ellis, and Ryan Dye; and four great-grandchildren, Lily Dye, Tyler Ellis, Vincent Dye, and Kathryn Ellis.

Sue’s proudest achievements were her careers as a pastor’s wife, mother, and school teacher.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
