Listen to Obituary

Carol Christine Hodson, 60, of Noblesville, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 following an extended illness. She was born on June 1, 1965 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Carol was an optician for most of her working years. She later worked at Meijer where she became reacquainted with an old classmate, Phil McKee. They hit it off immediately and were inseparable for the next 20 years.

Carol's constant compassion for everyone she met was unwavering. No matter the circumstances, she always put others' needs before her own. She had a kind soul and never wanted anyone to be sad or hurt.

Carol enjoyed crocheting, reading and watching her favorite television shows. She loved watching her birds at her feeders every morning with her coffee. Most of all, she loved her sons and grandchildren.

Being with Carol was a constant reminder that there are still good people in the world. She will be forever loved and missed.

Carol is survived by her mother, Elke Hens Curtin; sons, Logan Hull and Shawn (Mystical) Hull; brothers, Steven "Horst" Lyons and James Delbert Lyons Jr.; 6 grandchildren; cousins, Patrick Rigsby and Lorry Middleton; niece, Caroline Lyons; nephew, Jim Lyons; and her partner of 20 years, Phil McKee.

Carol was preceded in death by her father, James Delbert Lyons Sr.; and step-father, Kenneth Curtin.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Carol's family has entrusted her care to Randall & Roberts Funeral Homes.

Memorial contributions may be made to Humane Society for Hamilton County, 10501 Hague Road, Fishers, IN 46038 (www.hamiltonhumane.com).
