Brian Charles Curts (Love, Papaw, Coach B, "B"), 52 originally of Richmond, Indiana died unexpectedly at home in Noblesville, Indiana early Sunday morning. Brian spent his last hours on Earth wrapping up a wonderful and wholesome Saturday; watching college football, (O-H!), and kissing his wife goodnight.
Brian called many places home over the years but has adopted Noblesville as his hometown. He spent 30 years as a devoted, loyal, professional truck driver with one goal in mind ~ getting home safely to his family.
And what a family to behold! Brian is survived by the love of his life, Michele and the beautiful blended family they have created together including five adult children: Marisa (CJ) Poling, Dakota, Cady, Macy, and Raven and eight grandchildren: MJ, Hudson, Remi, Brooklynn, Lyla, Gwen, Tytan and baby boy Theo.
His parents, Laura & Wayne Loudy and John & Carol Curts; sisters, Lisa (Scott) Hutchens & his niece and nephew, Peyton and Luke, Cherie Loudy, Amie Loudy, and Angela Curts; aunt, Cheryl (Ron) Irvine; uncle, Stephen Russell.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Barbara Leister and Joseph Wayne Russell.
Brian’s home life was meaningful in all the ways that mattered to him. He coached little league baseball for years, most recently at NYB, would watch all the grandkids follow their passions and be their number one fan (if he wasn’t already their coach), he traveled to bucket list places with his family, became an on call handy man free of charge for them, embraced all things Christmas, and had his fair share of Coronas listening to Kenny Chesney and Zach Brown Band. He captained many boats, answered numerous emergency calls always with an “Absolutely” & “No problem”, and fell in love with a cat named Cazi. Brian is equally as passionate for his love of The Ohio State Football (fueled by Michele) and through his grandmother he fell in love with all things Boston, especially the Boston Red Sox. Above all that Brian will be remembered for who he was, a big guy with an equally sized smile, heart and personality to match.
As if that’s not fulfilling enough, Brian had the great fortune of a beautiful love story with his wife and best friend, Michele. The Mimi to his Papaw. Anyone who’s witnessed their love can attest to the harmonious, at times hilarious and inspiring partnership they shared. May we all be so lucky.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Saturday October 17, 2026 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan Street in Noblesville. Service will follow at 4:00 pm at the funeral home. Casual attire is encouraged.
