Betty Ruth Ellison

Betty Ruth Ellison, 79, of Fishers, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2026 at home with family. She was born on March 11, 1946 to Lee and Ruth (Rhoades) Wipperman in Logansport, Indiana.

Betty worked 20 years in manufacturing and several years at Taco Bell - she enjoyed interacting with the customers. She enjoyed reading, crocheting and cooking. Betty loved nature and being outdoors gardening, fishing and camping.

She is survived by her daughter, Lynn (Scott) Spillman; daughter-in-law, Nanchu Ellison; sisters, Eva (Chuck) Woodhouse and Alberta (Devon) Moore; grandchildren, Amanda (Ben) Crippen, Mykala (Destiny) Spillman, and Cole Spillman; and her great-grandson, Theodore Jaemin Crippen.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley William Ellison; and her son, Keith William Ellison.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, February 26, 2026 at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, in Fishers.

In lieu of cut flowers, the family would prefer plants and flower bulbs.
